A friend who works down at UC San Diego mentioned that one of the nearby community hospitals, Scripps Chula Visa may be hiring over the next 6-12 months due to some partners retiring.
I know the group has had the contract for more than 20 years and it is pretty busy ED (STEMI, STROKE, Walk in trauma) and great community atmosphere as well as a beautiful place to live.
Pay is close to $150/hr with a night bonus and a 1 year partnership track. There are residents occasionally from the Naval training program.
