Freestanding Emergency Medicine

We are a new, up and coming physician group that is seeking BC EM docs with at least three years of experience. We need partners who are willing to profit share. We are owned and operated by EM docs only. No corporate leadership or hospital CEO involvement with how we practice emergency medicine. Are there hospital associated EDs with these freestanding ones?

No. We are physician owned and operated.

always get mixed vibes about freestanding EDs. Yes good pay and often physician owned but they often only see fully insured. having trained in a county hospital it always just seemed wrong…

In which parts of Colorado are you building facilities and approximately when would employment begin? Also, are new grads out of the question? Thanks.

We are building many throughout the Denver area from Colorado Springs to Ft. Collins. The first should be open by the end of this year. We cannot take new grads. Doctors are functioning in single provider departments without any backup whatsoever. As a result, we need docs who have some experience behind them.
